The objective is to pair interns with ASEH scholars and to gain experience in outreach and interaction with partners outside the college setting. Recent projects have included the following:

2012 - 2014 historical research on national parks in Hawai‘i (partnered with National Park Service), Hawai‘i

2015 archival project processing conservation biology records (partnered with Smithsonian Institution), Washington, DC area

2016 mobile app project researching and providing content on historical sites (partnered with Three21 Innovations), Seattle

2016 national park research and report to provide historical context for congressional appropriations (partnered with National Parks Conservation Association), Seattle

If projects become available for 2017 and 2018 they will be posted here, along with application instructions.
