Notice of Subway Closure April 6-7

Saturday, 6 April: The subway will not run on that day between Kipling Station and Jane Station on the Bloor-Danforth line. This closure will have an impact primarily on delegates arriving from Pearson Airport or going to Pearson Airport that day and who wish to take public transit to or from the airport.  Most other delegates will not be affected. There will be frequent shuttle bus service replacing the subway between those two stations. It will likely take more time than the usual 60-70 minutes to get to or from the airport. Please keep this in mind if you are trying to get to a session at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel or to the airport in order to catch a plane.

Sunday, 7 April: The subway will not run that day between Union Station and Bloor-Yonge Station. This will not have an impact on delegates who wish to take public transit to Pearson Airport. They should simply take the subway north from Union Station to St George Station, and then switch to the Bloor-Danforth line heading west to Kipling Station.  At Kipling Station, take the 192 "Airport Rocket" bus to either Terminal 1 or 3. Please note that the subway does not start until 9.00 am on Sundays. Delegates not staying at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel and who are taking the tour to Niagara Falls will have to find an alternative way to the Fairmont Royal York Hotel to catch the bus.
